This is Peter and Maureen Scargill's Spanish website. We live in Galera in Andalusia (for clarity, that is the English spelling - Mid-Spain they spell it Andalucia and pronounce it "And-a-loo-thee-a").
We've had a home in Spain for more than 14 years and it is now our permanent base though we retain a small home in the UK.

Winter woes
Just a matter of days now before we’re back in Galera. I note it’s bloody cold there and our Pergola needs a little loving care. If anyone wants to take a hammer and flat-top nails over – that would be a nice welcome… the wind has gotten to it. It seems there’s no escaping the cold as I’m in London right now and it is BITTER here, but apparently worse in the Northeast with snow.
