What’s this about?
This is Peter and Maureen Scargill's Spanish website. We live in Galera in Andalusia (for clarity, that is the English spelling - Mid-Spain they spell it Andalucia and pronounce it "And-a-loo-thee-a").

We've had a home in Spain for more than 14 years and it is now our permanent base though we retain a small home in the UK.

Find out more about this by reading through the blog entries, menu-accessible pages and archives if you're interested! Welcome to Peter and Maureen's Spanish website.

Quadcoptor Delight

quadHad a nice quiet day today (other than cowering from the sun due to having bright red shoulders for the second day running). Spend the morning sorting out the WIFI for the TV and this afternoon upgrading the wireless controller network in the cave (it’s still no-where near perfect).

This afternoon met our new neighbour who introduced me to the Phantom Quadcoptor.  The units feature WIFI for video and image recording… and thanks to GPS and built in gyro they can find their way home in the event they run out of range. In use I noted the unit was steady as a rock when hovering in the air.

The photo below shows our cave (I’ve got the pink shirt on) to the upper left.

The photo below is taken from a much greater height – our cave is down at the bottom. Lovely day out there at around 30c mid-afternoon.
