This is Peter and Maureen Scargill's Spanish website. We live in Galera in Andalusia (for clarity, that is the English spelling - Mid-Spain they spell it Andalucia and pronounce it "And-a-loo-thee-a").
We've had a home in Spain for more than 14 years and it is now our permanent base though we retain a small home in the UK.

Backlit Dummy Window
Here it is – been wanting to do one of these since last year. The window is wooden with a stained glass insert…. the difference is there’s no daylight behind it – it’s solar powered – LED strip behind – sealed into the wall. There’s a 40w panel powering it – so plenty of juice to spare for other lights… just need to organise a deep discharge battery and put the solar panel on a permanent mount…
